These Terms govern your use of the EchoStyle website at echostyle.app and the EchoStyle mobile applications (together, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
1. The Service
EchoStyle provides AI-assisted fashion discovery, virtual try-on previews, personalised recommendations, and links to third-party retailers for purchase. Features may be in beta, mocked, or region-limited as we ship.
2. Eligibility
You must be able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction and meet any age requirements of the Apple App Store or Google Play for lifestyle apps. The Service is not directed at children.
3. Accounts & your content
Profile data, photos, and preferences you provide remain yours. You grant us a limited licence to process that content solely to operate the Service on your device and, where you enable network features, to complete search and checkout flows. You represent that you have rights to any photo you upload.
4. AI & try-on limitations
Recommendations and virtual try-on are assistive tools, not guarantees of fit, colour accuracy, or availability. Fabric drape, lighting, and sizing can differ from real life. Always review retailer size guides and return policies before purchase.
5. Third-party retailers & payments
Purchases are typically completed with retailers or payment providers (including Apple Pay / Google Pay where available). Their terms and privacy practices apply to those transactions. EchoStyle may receive affiliate commissions as disclosed in our Privacy Policy.
6. Acceptable use
- Do not misuse, reverse engineer, or disrupt the Service
- Do not upload unlawful, harmful, or infringing content
- Do not attempt to extract other users’ data or circumvent privacy controls
7. Intellectual property
EchoStyle branding, UI, and software are owned by us or our licensors. Product images and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are shown for discovery purposes.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant uninterrupted availability or error-free AI output. Nothing in these Terms excludes consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law or other mandatory laws.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, EchoStyle is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for retailer fulfilment, shipping, or product quality issues outside our control. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the Service is limited to the greater of AUD $50 or the amounts you paid us (if any) in the prior 12 months.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time and delete local data via the app or by uninstalling. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach or legal risk.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms. Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms where permitted by law.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia (or the state/territory we designate in a future update), without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your place of residence.
